Candy and Shandy: These two lifestyle gurus are the most popular celebrities to emerge from the 5,689,564 TV channels on offer in Coffeetropolis. Their all-pacifying lifestyle improvement tips have swept away everything before them... Most notable achievements have been supplying knitwear to hoards of angry fish, rioting mobs and hospital out-patients. Very tasteful knitwear too, actually, some very chi-chi designs but not too kitsch and... (That's enough! Ed.)

General Fish: A product of pollution from the artificial intelligence and nano-technology industries that inhabit the banks of the River Arabica in Coffeetropolis, the General has drawn the conclusion that the brown, stagnant waters of Coffeetropolis are not fit for his fellow fish any longer. The General has haddock enough carping, and wants to play Cod... but will the city know what to do when the fish come a-rumbling in?

Replicants: Super-clever, and just super at any job they turn a metal hand to - and that’s just the problem, especially for the human workers who rather needlessly have to stop working to eat and sleep... but just how human are these replicants? Do they have souls? Do they listen to James Brown?? Can they dance???

TV presenters: Immaculate and even-tempered at all times, these reporters bring the news that counts into the living rooms of Coffeetropolis. And we all know it's bad news that counts - if it bleeds, it leads! And there’s never a shortage of bad news around here...

Coffeetropolis citizens The great unwashed of Coffeetropolis... are they happy with the city they call home? Maybe if they could pinpoint when and where it all went horribly wrong they could find the passion to get it together and put it all right. Now the food’s bad, the health care’s bad, the jobs are bad and those in charge are just down right BAD, but it’s easier to accept the situation rather than struggle to put it right.
